Porcelain paving in Dublin.
Flat, clean, easy to live with.
We lay 20mm outdoor porcelain paving for patios, paths and outdoor dining areas across Dublin. Porcelain barely absorbs water and resists staining, so it stays clean with little upkeep. Results depend on the base and the falls, so we set those out before a single slab goes down.

Plain advice.
No upsell.
- Porcelain is dense and hard, so cutting and laying need the right tools and adhesive or slurry primer.
- Pedestals suit roof terraces and level changes; a full bed suits most back gardens.
- Dark slabs show water marks and pale slabs show dirt; we bring samples so you can see them outside.
Questions people ask.
Plain answers.
Is porcelain paving suitable for Irish gardens?
Yes, when the base, falls and drainage are planned properly. Porcelain barely absorbs water, resists moss and staining, and stays stable through wet winters.
What thickness of porcelain is used outdoors?
20mm is the standard outdoor thickness for patios and paths. Thinner tiles are for indoor floors.
Is porcelain paving slippery?
Outdoor porcelain has a textured, slip-rated finish. Like any surface, it needs the odd clean in shaded areas where algae grows.
Can porcelain go under a patio cover?
Yes, and it’s a popular combination: a porcelain patio with an aluminium cover gives a dry outdoor space for most of the year.
How much does a porcelain patio cost in Dublin?
As a rough guide, about €110–200 per m² for a 20mm porcelain patio, supplied and laid. The base, drainage and removing old paving can change the price; you get it in writing before we start.
How long does a porcelain patio take?
Most back-garden patios take a few days once the base is ready. You get the timing in the written scope before we start.
