Yes. A cover makes the patio usable in rain for most of the year. It’s planned around the wall, water run-off and how much light reaches the house.
Will a patio cover make my kitchen dark?
It can if the wrong roof is chosen. Opal or clear panels let most of the light through; we look at your windows before recommending one.
Do I need planning permission for a patio cover?
It depends on size, height and how it’s attached. Many are exempt, some aren’t. Check with your local council; we give you the dimensions to ask about.
Can you put a cover over an existing deck or patio?
Usually, yes. We check the surface and where the posts can be fixed.
